Matt Wheeler
Owner
Matt Wheeler obtained his degree in Applied Science with a focus in Health Promotion while at Cincinnati State and The University of Cincinnati. He is certified as a trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Matt has been trained and certified in many unique programs such as Jump Stretch and Sparq® offering a more diverse sports specific program for elite athletes to enhance sports performance and prevent injury. Matt's extensive training career has touched the lives of many over the past ten years. From professional athletes to mothers and fathers.

Shawn Neuhaus
Director of Operations
Shawn is a Cincinnati native. He attended Forest Park High School and the University of Cincinnati, college of education. After working for thirteen years in the bio-medical field he returned to his true passion, athletics. In addition to raising his own 7 children, he has focused on youth sports. He has coached and instructed teams and individuals at multiple levels in the sports of baseball, football and soccer.

Emily graduated from the University of Dayton with a BSE in Exercise Science and Fitness Management. While attending UD, Emily played soccer for the womens team. Soccer had been a vital part of her life being on various nationally ranked teams taking her overseas. Emily now coaches youth soccer holding both F and E coaching licenses. Emily has become dedicated to the training of the body to help prevent injuries for athletes and non-athletes alike.

Chris Cleary
Olympic Weightlifitng Coach
Chris specializes in teaching Olympic lifts to athletes and general population.
He is the President of the Cincinnati Olympic Weightlifting Club.

Mark Kalugyer
Football Trainer
Mark holds degrees in physical education, history, and a masters in education. He also has over twenty years experience in the sporting world. In the past Mark has served as the head football coach at Hamilton and Springboro, Ohio and Edinburgh, Indiana. Mark is also a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.

Kirk graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in Biomechanics. After finishing his undergrad at UC, Kirk graduated with his doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2010 from the University of Dayton. Kirk has been a member of the Explosion team since day one and has his CSCS through the NSCA.

Matt Klusman
P.T., M.P.T., O.C.S.
Matt graduated from EMU in 1992 with B.S. in Sports Medicine-Exercise Science. At EMU Matt played football but sustained numerous injuries requiring surgery and rehabilitation that ultimately sparked his interest in physical therapy. In 1996 he graduated form Andrews University with his Master's Degree in P.T.In 2002 Matt became board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. Matt's specializes in manual therapy techniques of the spine and extremities, as well as sports medicine and general orthopaedics. Matt opened his own private practice in 2005 Rebound Physical Therapy and later Beckett Ridge Physical Therapy in 2007. Matt resides in Western Hills with his wife Renee an Occupational Therapist, and their four children.
